Your first session.

Install in a few steps

1. Save your project and close After Effects.
2. Download the review ZIP from your account, then extract the whole folder.
3. Read INSTALL.txt and run Install Prism.bat. This unsigned beta uses Adobe’s CEP developer mode; the installer explains the setting before continuing.
4. Open After Effects, then Window → Extensions → Prism.
5. Enter your email and the eight-digit code sent to you. Registration is limited to approved beta accounts.

Make your first edit

Open a composition and select the layers you want to work on. Choose a tool, then use Ctrl + Z if you want to undo it. For your first session, use a copy of your project.

Effects and animation presets need to be installed separately. Each third-party effect has its own compatibility requirements.

Remembered sign-in

Your Windows account stores the panel session encrypted on this computer. A previously verified account can work offline for up to seven days from its last successful connection. After that, reconnect to verify it again. Settings has a visible Log out button.

Updates and rollback

Check Settings → Help & backups → Version & updates. Updates are installed manually with After Effects closed. The installer backs up the previous panel; Restore Prism.bat can restore that backup. Uninstall Prism.bat removes the panel and keeps your saved preferences and account data.

Something feels wrong?

Copy the diagnostics in Settings → Help & backups and include the steps to reproduce the issue in Feedback. Leave out private project contents, login codes and passwords.
